About The Bagel Place

Located at 6000 J St, Sacramento, CA 95819, The Bagel Place operates as a bagel shop serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–2 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Not impressed, two little thin sliced turkey slices with a cold bagel . Super stingy with the spread and not much veggies. The smell to this place smelled so good so I tried it out, left so disappointed :( $9 dollars and still hungry... Just go to togos or subway they at least put meat on their sandwiches

Good variation and customization options, fairly inexpensive compared to other restaurants. I recommended the stinger shmear, and 2 loaded bagels for 12 bucks? Amazing

Worst bagel I've ever had, I gave them 2 tries and both were not even as good as store bought bagels. Both times I asked for it to be extra toasted only to end up with a barely toasted bagel with barely any cream cheese. Dont waiste your time or money here!

Any bagel with stinger sauce is a great bagel. The price is decent (between $5-$6.50) I usually order #5 or #6 (bacon/sausage egg cheese) with the stinger sauce spread.

I've tried several of their bagels as well as a couple of their bagel sandwiches. All have been good and reasonably priced.
